International Mines Rescue Body Conference (IMRB 2023) held in South Africa from the 1st till the 5th of October 2023 has come to the end. The organizers truly outdid themselves, from the remarkable opening ceremony to the farewell party at Boma, and all the other events throughout the conference. In our opinion, the level of organization was exceptional, setting a high bar of the event which takes place once every 2 years.
At IMRB 2023, we had the exceptional opportunity to meet and interact with experts from the mining industry from over 25 countries worldwide. It was an incredible opportunity to exchange ideas and experience, discuss the latest innovations and technologies in mine safety and rescue, as well as in responding to civilian objects as a result of natural disasters and hostilities - unfortunately, the realities of today. The conference gave the unique opportunity to make new contacts and strengthen existing ones for the development of the rescue operations industry.
We would also like to express our deep appreciation to the South African Mines Rescue Services team. Your comprehensive support, highly qualified assistance, and unwavering commitment were instrumental in making this event a resounding success. We are sincerely grateful for your invaluable contributions.
The DEZEGA team is now back home, ready to analyze the results and continue our efforts to improve mine safety and rescue technologies and continuously improve the level of DEZEGA breathing equipment. We look forward to the opportunity to meet again at the mine rescue competition IMRC 2024 in Colombia. We plan to participate, as many mine rescue teams worldwide rely on DEZEGA equipment, including the brand new self-contained compressed oxygen positive pressure breathing apparatus DEZEGA P-70. This demonstrates that DEZEGA breathing equipment is reliable and designed with user safety and comfort in mind.
Once again, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended DEZEGA night on the 4th of October at the Brew Monkey. We had an incredible time together, making it a memorable evening filled with fruitful networking and so much fun. Your participation and support is extremely valuable to us as we all work together towards the same goal - improving safety in the mining industry.
