We are pleased to announce that the emergency escape breathing device (EEBD) EmSCAPE has been certified under Module B and D in accordance with the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) 2014/90/EU and Regulation (EU) 2024/1975.
EmSCAPE fully complies with the requirements of SOLAS 74 Reg. II-2/13, ISO 23269-1:2008, IMO Res. MSC.98(73) (FSS Code) and IMO MSC/Circ.849.
EmSCAPE is the only SOLAS-certified chemical oxygen EEBD on the market that combines:
- maintenance-free approach
- up to 30 minutes of escape time
- up to 90 minutes of waiting for rescue time
- 10-year shelf life
- half-mask communication system
- compact and lightweight design (2.2 kg)
- Intuitive donning procedure
