DEZEGA strengthens the equipment of Ukrainian rescuers with P-70 breathing apparatus
DEZEGA has supported the State Paramilitary Mine Rescue Squad of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine by providing P-70 compressed oxygen self-contained closed-circuit breathing apparatus. The equipment will be available to the rescuers for respiratory protection during training and emergency rescue operations.

P-70: technology designed to support rescuers in the field
The DEZEGA P-70 is a compressed oxygen self-contained closed-circuit breathing apparatus with a nominal working duration of at least four hours.
Its intelligent onboard electronics performs automatic self-checks, provides warnings and alarms, monitor key operating parameters, calculates the estimated remaining working time, has immobility control, and supports user identification and team monitoring. A high-contrast full-color display provides clear visibility of critical information in challenging conditions, including darkness, smoke, and bright light.
The P-70 is also designed with long-duration use in mind. Its lightness in a class weight, ergonomic harness system helps distribute the load, which significantly reduces the rescuer's fatigue and energy expenditure, while tool-free assembly, disassembly, and maintenance simplify daily servicing and field operations.
“In a critical situation, technology should work for the rescuer rather than demand additional attention. That is why, when developing the P-70, we focused on the information available to the user, equipment status monitoring, weight, ergonomics and ease of maintenance. The specialist should be able to focus on the task, while the equipment should support them in doing it, not causing discomfort and reducing fatigue,” DEZEGA comments.
